Help is on the Way!

We are all aware of the recent hurricane in Texas and the threat of another catastrophic hurricane which is approaching Florida. People are hurting and are in need of our help. These types of disasters can overwhelm us to the point where we feel like we are unable to help because the need is too big. This week we received a request from a real person on the ground in Texas. The person is known to our church family and asked if we could help by sending cleaning supplies. A church member volunteered to box and ship all the items donated. So, this brings us to the question of how can we help?

1. Purchase cleaning supplies and bring them to Grace Church East Campus, 4701 Highway 111, Pontoon Beach, IL 62040. We can accept items on Saturday evenings from 5 pm to 6 pm and on Sundays from 8 am to 12:30 pm. Items needed are rubber gloves, wipes, trash bags (30 gallon minimum), Clorox Bleach Spray (or other cleaners), DampRid and storage bins (40 quart minimum).

2. Donate money! We can use the money to pay for boxes and shipping. We can also send money to those in need so they can purchase additional items needed in Texas. Click here to donate.
